Simon Collins - Small Paintings is a continual online exhibition of my small paintings.
New work will appear here regularly.
A random element to the subject matter should keep it interesting, whether studies or exploration pieces pertinent to larger gallery work or a bit of whatever.
Work here will rarely be exhibited publicly or available anywhere else. It's intention is not to bypass the gallery system, more to complement that work. The main idea is for the ongoing offering of quality affordable and significant small affordable works. There is a flat rate of $10 AUD anywhere in the world for postage and first to "Buy Now" will purchase.
All work is in oils on archival mounted ply boards. Thickness
of painting is a little over 20mm.
The mounts are made of 19x40mm Tasmanian Oak Hardwood, constructed using very neat mitre joints and flush sides finished in semi gloss premium wash and wear interior acrylic paint. So although far from necessary, the purchaser is left with further finishing/framing options.
