#3 Traffic Moment

Traffic Moment 2008
12x15cm Oil on Board

I'd forgotten completely where the reference for this was taken until I finished the painting. Then it was clear, but of little consequence. More than any so far, this small painting is a study for a larger work.

Simon, I like this series of paintings from the viewpoint of the driver. Im happy to know I'm not the only one that takes photos from the wheel! Although I usually take mine when its raining and there are plenty of reflections and lights. This of of your looks like a moment when you had to do some driving all of a sudden and took the reference photo while turning the wheel or something.. it works though. cheers

Thanks Mike. I have found it is best to stop or slow down if using the viewfinder, framing and focussing! But a getting a remote has be very handy.
