Great paint work as usual.
These pieces look like they are becoming more concerned with the paint than with any particular subject matter...is that the case? How big are you planning for the larger versions of these?

Thanks Amanda, that's nice to hear and absolutely the case. If it's not about paint we may as well be taking photo's right? I see that as the strength of painting. Although I do think referencing my own experiences and surroundings is important. I'd be happy to see these as big as possible really, no set in concrete plans, there never are until the paint is squeezed out, but I have some big canvases almost ready attack, 150cm and 180 cm long. Have also ordered some 760mm square boards.

I agree that if it's not about paint we may as well be taking photos. And I love seeing an artist's world translated into paint. Nicely done.
